Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.
I would get up at 6 in the morning, study until breakfast, then go to lectures, labs and libraries, and not spend more than 15 minutes unplanned all day. I would work until 9 o’clock at night and then go to sleep. I wouldn’t play games, I wouldn’t watch movies. I seldom went to concerts, hardly ever dated, and studied nothing but psychology and physiology.
There have to be reasons that you get up in the morning and you want to live. Why do you want to live? What's the point? What inspires you? What do you love about the future? If the future does not include being out there among the stars and being a multi-planet species, I find that incredibly depressing.
If you get up in the morning and think the future is going to be better, it is a bright day. Otherwise, it's not.
